Welcome to Apex 1040 Income Tax School.

Apex courses are designed to meet the needs of those just starting in the tax profession, or the licensed preparer in search of continuing education.

Whether you want to learn more about your own taxes, or are interested in a rewarding career as a licensed professional tax preparer, our Comprehensive Basic Course will help you achieve your objectives. All contact is with experienced tax professionals that will guide you through the course. With our easy to understand materials you can study in the privacy of your own home at your own pace or come join our experienced staff in a classroom setting.

For the licensed preparer we offer courses that will meet or exceed the CTEC continuing education requirements. Our Advanced Course is designed for those who have completed the Comprehensive Basic Course. If you are comfortable with the preparation of individual tax returns and are interested in expanding into small business tax returns we have Introduction to Small Business or Small Business Entities. For the preparer who has met the requirement for the federal hours and only needs CA hours we also have a California Small Business Course. All of these courses are available on the internet or as a correspondence course.
